TS 1759 > second edition was published in 1760, now incorporating the Sermons of Mr. Yorick (i-ii).
Sterne was to continue writing Tristram Shandy until the end of his life, completing volumes III and IV in 1760, V and VI in 1761, VII and VIII in 1765, and IX, the final volume, in 1766.
